Description

Belahari buṭṭā (बेलहरि बुट्टा) is a Nepali word for scroll-work embroidered on a khukri sheath.1

Belahari (बेलहरि) means "embroidery work". Buṭṭā (बेल्-बुट्टा) means embroidery, braid, or filigree. 

It is also used as the shorter such bel-buṭṭā (बेल्-बुट्टा) which is synonymous to belahari buṭṭā (बेलहरि बुट्टा).
