Jire buṭṭā (जिरे बुट्टा); Fluted ornamentation (e.g. that on the silver of a khukri sheath).¹
Jire means of or like cumin-seed.

Cumin-seed like openwork on the scabbard moutpiece of a khukurī.
Compared to actual cumin seeds, right.
