Description
Yem nguyệt đao (偃月刀) is the Vietnamese name for what is known in China as the yǎnyuèdāo (偃月刀), and in Korea as the eonwoldo (언월도).
Like their Chinese counterparts, the quality ranges from very good to very utilitarian, and many purely ceremonial pieces exist from the later period.
Yem nguyệt đao can usually be distinguished from their Chinese counterparts by a characteristic brass sleeve under the head.
